This unique round fire bowl with conical mirrored nickel bronze hood and borosilicate glass surround provides an inviting gathering space for residents of this large apartment building. A direct vent flue system ingests fresh exterior air, supplies it to the circular burner from below, and then meanders vertically and horizontally across multiple floors of the building to a safe discharge point. Complete assembly and laboratory testing in Portland proved safe operating temperatures for daily public use and achieved ANSI certification for approval in New York City.
